ul. Łąkowa, Wieś Bieszkowice
Jezioro Bieszkowickie lies north-west of the Kashubian village of Bieszkowice, in the Wejherowo district, within the Tricity Landscape Park. It neighbours Lake Zawiad, and the area is covered by forests cut through with a network of forest tracks. Wejherowo and Gdynia are a dozen or so kilometres away.
The lake belongs to the group known as the Bieszkowice Marshes, a cluster of small forest lakes. In some of them — Bieszkowickie, Zawiad, Borowo, Pałsznik, Krypko and Wygoda — bathing areas have been marked out, while in others, such as Rąbówko or Borowe Oczko, swimming is forbidden. The water here is considered among the cleanest in the Tricity area.
This is a destination for a day trip out of the conurbation: swimming in summer, walking and cycling off season. At the height of summer it can get crowded, while in spring and autumn the lake is quiet.
