ul. Stawowa, Wieś Kostkowice
Zalew Kostkowice was created on the Białka river in the village of Kostkowice, Kroczyce commune, Zawiercie County. The reservoir lies on the northern side of the Słupsko hill, in the landscape of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, surrounded by the limestone outcrops of the Kroczyce Rocks.
The reservoir has a bathing area with a beach, a water equipment rental, and a bar on the opposite shore. Camping spots for tents have been marked out nearby. The water is popular with anglers, and the surrounding forests are rich in mushrooms.
A hiking trail starts at the reservoir and runs along the Kroczyce Rocks, a favourite of climbers. It passes over Słupsko hill with the remains of an old stronghold and continues past further limestone outcrops. In winter the area is used by cross-country skiers.
