Bachotek, Wieś Pokrzydowo
Lake Bachotek lies in the Zbiczno commune in the Brodnica Lake District, next to a village of the same name. It has a well-developed shoreline and is surrounded by the dense forests of the Brodnica Landscape Park. It is one of the most popular recreational lakes in the Brodnica county.
A sandy beach with a supervised bathing area has been arranged on the shore. There is a water equipment rental, a sports pitch, a playground and designated barbecue and campfire spots, plus seasonal food outlets. The rich fish stock attracts anglers, and the gentle banks make it easy to launch a kayak.
The village hosts a PTTK water station with camping cabins and a tent field, which makes Bachotek convenient for a longer stay. Walking and cycling trails run around the lake, and the neighbouring ribbon lakes and the Skarlanka river extend the range of trips. Brodnica is a dozen or so kilometres away.
