Czchów Lake is an artificial body of water in Brzesko County, created by a dam that impounds the Dunajec river below Czchów. It serves as a compensating reservoir for the larger Rożnów Lake and also performs flood control and power generation duties. Its narrow basin, squeezed between the slopes of the Rożnów Foothills, gives it the character of a mountain backwater.
The best known spot is the bathing area in Jurków, called „Chorwacja”. Besides the beach there are swimming pools, a playground, a rope park, food outlets and a water equipment rental. The lake is also used for boating and water recreation, and its gentle shores suit families with children.
Walking and cycling trails radiate around the lake across the Rożnów Foothills, with viewpoints over the Dunajec valley. One of them leads to Tropsztyn Castle in Wytrzyszczki. A ferry crosses to the opposite bank, to Tropie — a village with a church and the hermitage of Saint Świerad.
