A seaside beach in a spa resort

The beach in Kołobrzeg stretches along both sides of the mouth of the Parsęta river, in the largest health resort of Western Pomerania. The broad belt of sand adjoins the town's buildings, so it can be reached from the centre in a few minutes by several entrances. A permanent feature of the view is the pier, about 220 metres long.

The boulevard and the area

Jan Szymański Boulevard runs along the shore — a promenade linking the pier with the lighthouse. Kołobrzeg holds spa town status: there are brine springs and peat mud deposits used in treatments. The proximity of the port, the lighthouse and the seaside park lets you combine time on the beach with sightseeing.

Who it suits

This is a town beach set up for family traffic: guarded in season, with sanitary facilities, food outlets and a water equipment rental. Some of the entrances are adapted for people with reduced mobility, and designated stretches allow dogs.
