A beach beneath the cliff in Gdynia

Orłowo Beach is one of the most recognisable stretches of coast in Gdynia. The sandy strip runs at the foot of a cliff, and the view is closed by Cypel Redłowski — a wooded headland under nature reserve protection. The walk from the Gdynia Orłowo commuter rail station takes about a quarter of an hour and leads along Orłowska Street through the seaside part of the district.

Facilities

The bathing area has lifeguards, is adapted for wheelchair users and is covered by Wi-Fi. A water equipment rental operates here and there are attractions for children. The beach remains pet friendly, so you can come with a dog. Cafés, bars and food outlets are spread along the back of the beach.

The pier and the surroundings

A small pier reaches out from the beach, popular especially at sunset, when the whole Gulf of Gdańsk is in view. The Kacza river reaches the sea nearby, and paths up the cliff lead to the Kępa Redłowska reserve and on towards central Gdynia.
