Jezioro Rychnowskie is a glacial ribbon lake in the Krajna Lakeland, right next to Człuchów in the Pomeranian region. Together with Jezioro Miejskie and Jezioro Człuchowskie it forms the Człuchów Lake Complex, protected as a landscape park area since 1981. Its elongated shape and steep, wooded banks are typical of ribbon lakes.
The town runs a supervised municipal bathing area on the shore, managed by the local sports centre, with a water equipment rental point next to it. A rope park and holiday resorts operate nearby, so the place combines quiet time by the water with activity for older children.
Forest covers most of the shoreline, which favours birdwatching and encounters with woodland animals, and walking paths run along the banks. A few minutes away stand the ruins of a Teutonic castle with a preserved tower offering a view over the town and the neighbouring lakes.
