Zalew 1, Wieś Rogoźnik
The Rogoźnik Reservoirs are a group of water bodies in the village of Rogoźnik in the Silesian Voivodeship, in the triangle between Będzin, Siewierz and Piekary Śląskie. Today they form one of the more popular recreational areas in the northern part of the conurbation, and the largest of them, Rogoźnik II, serves as a bathing area.
During the summer holidays the bathing area on Rogoźnik II is supervised by lifeguards, and a sandy beach awaits by the water. A landscape park of about 64 hectares surrounds the reservoirs, with a recreation centre: holiday cottages, an amphitheatre with a restaurant, a playground, food outlets and a campsite.
Open-air events are held at Rogoźnik – angling competitions, beach volleyball tournaments, water and ice rescue displays and model boat contests. Outside the season the area serves walkers and cyclists.
