A wide beach on both sides of the Wieprza

The beach in Darłówko is one of the best-known stretches of the Polish coast and administratively belongs to Darłowo. The mouth of the Wieprza divides it into an eastern and a western part, linked by a drawbridge over the port canal. The sandy strip runs for kilometres, so even at the height of the season a quieter spot is easy to find.

East and west – the differences

In Darłówko East the shore is in places protected by stone groynes; beach volleyball courts and inflatable playgrounds are set up near the access points. The western beach is wider and free of such structures, with water equipment rentals and attractions on the water.

A good place for families

In season supervised bathing areas operate on both sides, which makes a stay with small children easier. The coastal microclimate, humid and rich in iodine, is regarded here as beneficial to health. Besides sunbathing, it is worth walking the promenade to the lighthouse and the harbour.
