A wide beach at the base of the Hel Peninsula

The beach in Władysławowo stretches at the base of the Hel Peninsula, where the open sea meets the entrance to the sandbar. The strip of sand is unusually wide – around 50 metres in places – and runs for more than a dozen kilometres along the municipality's coast. The sand is fine and clean and the seabed shelves gently, which makes bathing easier for families with children.

Good to know

In season more than a dozen supervised bathing areas operate here, each with its own access path, so visitors spread along the whole length of the beach. Those seeking quiet move away from the central entrances; those who prefer the buzz stay by the main one, where food outlets and equipment rentals are concentrated.

Who it suits

This is a classic holiday beach with extensive facilities and attractions for children. Open-air concerts and regular events take place in summer. Władysławowo also makes a convenient base for Hel, Jastarnia and inland Kashubia.
