A small lake on Wolin island

Lake Wisełka lies in the village of the same name on the island of Wolin, next to Wolin National Park. It is a ribbon lake roughly 600 metres long and 200 metres wide, surrounded by forest and holiday buildings. A short walk across the dunes separates it from the Baltic.

Beach and recreation

The shores are mostly grassy, and a beach with a supervised bathing area has been prepared for visitors. The lake warms up faster than the sea, so it is a good alternative to the cool Baltic, especially for families with children. A water equipment rental operates by the shore, and beginners can take lessons with instructors.

The surroundings

The place tends to be quieter than the crowded seaside resorts, which those seeking calm appreciate. Nearby it is worth visiting the Kikut lighthouse, hidden in the forest and open to visitors, and the trails of Wolin National Park. Anglers catch pike, perch, eel, bream and tench here.
