Rudnia, Wieś Bondary
Siemianówka Reservoir, also called Lake Siemianowskie, is a dam reservoir on the Narew River in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, right by the western edge of the Białowieża Forest. Its broad expanse of water stretches between the villages of Bondary, Rybaki and Stary Dwór and forms one of the largest bodies of water in this part of the country.
Two beach areas operate on the lake: one between Rybaki and Rudnia, the other in Stary Dwór. Both offer supervised swimming areas, jetties, tent fields, picnic shelters and barbecue spots, as well as water equipment rental. Rybaki has a beach volleyball court and a slipway for launching small yachts, while Stary Dwór adds playgrounds, a climbing wall, sports pitches and an amphitheatre.
The shallow, overgrown shores are among the best places in Poland to watch water and wetland birds; in spring and autumn large migrating flocks stop here. The panorama of the reservoir can be admired from a viewing tower set on the shore.
