The Pogórzanin narrow-gauge railway started running around 1900 and for decades carried sugar beet to the refinery, as well as timber, gravel and stone. Today the station on Lubomirskich Street in Przeworsk is the departure point for tourist trips towards the Dynów Foothills.
The journey begins in the Wisłok valley and takes about three hours one way. Its most striking point is a 602-metre tunnel — the only one on a Polish narrow-gauge line. The train also crosses two steel bridges over the Mleczka river and a stone viaduct, and in places the track runs right past houses and gardens.
Trips are seasonal and follow a timetable announced by the operator, so the date should be confirmed in advance. A bar carriage is open on board, and moving between carriages can feel unsteady. Dogs are allowed.
