Borek 302, Wieś Borek
The Borek Active Leisure Centre lies in the village of Borek in the Bochnia district, about fifty kilometres from Kraków. It is a large recreational complex combining outdoor attractions with accommodation and catering facilities, set up both for short visits and for longer stays.
The grounds hold a rope park, a climbing wall, a zip line and a go-kart track, along with a horse riding stable and the Salt Rocks theme park, which refers to the salt-mining history of the region. Sports facilities complete the picture: pitches and recreation zones. The range is wide enough to fill an entire afternoon, and several days on a longer stay.
The centre serves individual visitors and families, but its strength lies with groups: school trips, outdoor school programmes, sports and dance camps, and corporate team-building stays. Individual attractions and stays are best booked in advance, especially in the summer holidays.
