The Bardo rafting trip takes place on the Nysa Kłodzka river, in the gorge where it cuts through the Bardzkie Mountains at the edge of the Kłodzko Valley. Participants set off near Bardo and are given rafts, paddles and life jackets. It is one of the more popular summer water attractions in this part of Lower Silesia.
The rafting itself takes about three hours, and with preparation, the briefing and the return you should allow half a day. The current is moderate, without difficult drops, so the route is also completed by families with small children under adult supervision. Along the way you can see the steep, wooded slopes of the gorge and rock outcrops dropping right down to the water.
Conditions depend on the water level in the river, so dates are confirmed on an ongoing basis. Bring a change of clothes and footwear that can get wet. The trips are used by individual tourists and organised groups alike.
