Spływ Białką Jędruś offers active leisure at the northern edge of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The starting point lies by the reservoir in Lelów, in the Silesian Voivodeship, and the route ends in Biała Wielka. The Białka flows calmly here among meadows and riverside trees, and covering some five kilometres takes just under two hours.
The current is gentle and the bed shallow, with no drops or technically difficult spots — the trip is manageable even for people who have never sat in a raft before. Large, stable boats keep things comfortable, so younger children can come along under adult supervision. Along the way stretches of river open up that cannot be reached from the roads.
It makes a good break between visiting the upland castles and hiking the Trail of the Eagles' Nests. Bring footwear that can get wet and a change of clothes.
