Przełom Białki is a nature reserve on the border of the Podhale and Spisz regions, next to the village of Nowa Biała near Białka Tatrzańska. The river split two limestone hills here — Obłazowa on the left bank and Kramnica on the right — carving a gap around a hundred metres wide. Protection covers the riverbed and the rocks around it.
The riverbed is full of smooth granite boulders carried down by the water all the way from the Tatras, and relict rock plants survive on the ledges. Obłazowa is known for a cave in which traces of very early human settlement were found. Visiting means a walk along the bank and a climb onto the rocky hills.
Nowa Biała itself has an unusual layout: two parallel streets separated by a stream that flows into the Białka. The Skałki Dursztyńskie rocks stand nearby, and Niedzica, Czorsztyn and the Czorsztyn reservoir are within easy reach. The terrain is gentle and suits a short family stop.
