The municipal open-air swimming complex in Radzionków lies within the Księża Góra park, in the northern part of Upper Silesia. The first pool operated here as early as the 1970s, and a later rebuild turned the site into a modern summer recreation centre.
The main basin is a 50-metre sports pool reaching a depth of 2.66 m. Next to it there is a shallower pool adapted for people with disabilities and a paddling pool for the youngest with three slides. Beach volleyball, mini basketball, mini football and beach tennis courts are laid out around them, so time can also be spent out of the water.
The place is aimed at families and groups — competitions and events for children and teenagers are held here, and the site can take several thousand visitors at a time. A food outlet is open after swimming. Free parking spaces have been marked out nearby.
