The rental point works on the Polańczyk peninsula, by Zdrojowa Street on Lake Solina. It offers boats with an electric drive, quiet and odourless, permitted on a reservoir with strict environmental rules. No sailing or motorboat licence is needed to take the helm.
Open boats and cabin boats are available, hired by the hour or for a full day. The staff explain how to steer and suggest routes around the bays, so a cruise is within reach of complete beginners. For an extra fee a dog may come on board.
Lake Solina is the largest artificial reservoir in Poland, with a shoreline cut by bays and views of the Bieszczady ridges. From the water you can see the dam in Solina, the peninsulas and wooded slopes unreachable from land. The best times to set out are early morning or late afternoon, when the lake is quieter.
