The Silesia rope park operates within Silesia Park in Chorzów, one of the largest park complexes in this part of Europe. The courses run among mature trees on Dojazdowa Street, close to the main avenues. Participants move across platforms, rope bridges and zip lines, clipped into a safety system throughout.
Before entering the courses everyone receives a harness and a short briefing on using the lanyards. The individual loops differ in height and difficulty, so both children and adults looking for a bigger challenge can take part. Completing one course usually takes about an hour.
Silesia Park easily fills a whole day: the Silesian zoo, the planetarium, the Elka cable car and wide walking avenues are all close by. It is a convenient stop for anyone touring the Upper Silesian conurbation by campervan.
