Paciorkowce is a group of four spoil heaps piled on the former grounds of a hard coal mine in Bieruń, by Barbórki Street. Wild vegetation has taken over the mounds: birches, grasses and lichens, so from a distance they look like natural hills, clearly visible from road 934.
Several gentle marked paths lead to the tops, and beyond them the site is crossed by a dense web of tracks trodden by visitors. From the summits a wide panorama opens up: the chimneys of the Ziemowit mine stand close by, and in good visibility the Beskids appear on the horizon.
At the foot of the mounds there are roofed shelters and benches, although dense greenery hides them well. Entry is free, the area is open all year and dogs are welcome. The paths are unsurfaced and steep in places, they get slippery after rain, and a pram is not really practical here.
