The Stanisław Buła Horse Stud Farm operates in Łopuszna, a village on the Dunajec River a dozen or so kilometres east of Nowy Targ. The farm buildings stand next to the historic manor complex, which gives the whole place a quiet, rural character. The surroundings — meadows along the river and the nearby slopes — form a natural terrain for riding.
The core of the offer consists of riding lessons for beginners, training over obstacles and rides in open country. More experienced riders can join multi-day horse treks through the surrounding valleys. Away from the saddle there are carriage rides and, in winter, sleigh rides — an option for those who want to feel the atmosphere of the place without mounting a horse. Classes are run in small groups, so adults taking their first steps in the saddle can also decide to learn here.
In autumn the stud farm holds celebrations of Saint Hubert day, the most important date in the calendar of hunters and riders. The highlight is the traditional fox hunt, a mounted chase after a rider carrying a fox tail, accompanied by displays and a shared feast.
The farm also takes in horses for a stay — a horse hotel is available for visitors travelling with their own mount. Horses are hired for outdoor photo sessions as well. It is worth combining the visit with a walk around Łopuszna: the village has preserved a wooden church and a historic manor with its park, and a trout farm operates here too.
