Chata Baryła lies in Zdunowice near Sulęczyno, in the heart of Kashubia in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is a farm combining a stable with accommodation and catering, away from the bustle of the Tricity yet still within reach of a day trip from the coast. The surroundings consist of forests, lakes and the rolling landscape of Kashubian Switzerland.
Horse riding is the core of the offer — from lessons for beginners to trail rides in the countryside. Besides the stable there is a mini zoo, canoe trips are organised, and in winter skijoring behind a horse. Playgrounds are provided for children, and outdoor events and cultural gatherings take place in season, which makes the place suited to a longer family stay.
Kashubian dishes can be sampled on site. It is worth combining the stay with exploring the region: nearby Sulęczyno, the ribbon lakes, Kashubian churches and regional museums reveal a culture that is still alive here, together with the Kashubian language and local craftwork.
