Toboggan run at Góra Świętej Anny

Harcówka is a gravity toboggan run of the alpine coaster type at the foot of Góra Świętej Anny (St Anne's Mountain), in the Strzelce district of the Opole region. The track forms a loop about 600 metres long and leads among trees along the slope. The descent is made on carts running on a rail, and the rider controls the speed with a brake lever.

Who it suits

The ride is safe enough for children — the youngest go down together with an adult. It is an attraction for a short, energetic break while exploring the area, often combined with a walk in the landscape park. The track operates all year, although in the colder months opening hours depend on the weather.

The surroundings

Góra Świętej Anny is an extinct volcano and one of the main viewpoints of the region — its summit opens a panorama of the Oder valley and Upper Silesia. There is a sanctuary with a Franciscan monastery, a calvary and an amphitheatre carved out of a former basalt quarry.
