Stajnia Ferdyn operates in Świerklaniec, near Tarnowskie Góry in the Silesian Voivodeship. The centre runs an equestrian sports academy and combines competitive training with recreation, so both beginners and riders taking part in competitions come here. Its location on the edge of extensive green areas makes it a convenient starting point for rides in the countryside.
Several arenas of different purpose are available: a sand arena, a jumping ground and a western riding area, along with paddocks for the horses. Besides lessons and training sessions, trail rides through the surrounding forests are organised. Once a year the St Hubert's Day celebration takes place here — an equestrian festival with displays of horses, birds of prey and hounds.
Świerklaniec is known for the historic park of the former Donnersmarck residence, where the Cavalier's Palace has survived. Close by lies the Nakło-Chechło reservoir with beaches and cycling paths, as well as Tarnowskie Góry with its UNESCO-listed silver mine.
