Słoneczny Ekspres is a tourist train running around Busko-Zdrój, a spa town in the southern part of the Świętokrzyskie province. The ride links the main points of the town and lets you see them without walking, which matters to spa patients. Commentary about the places passed accompanies the route.
The vehicles call at the Market Square, the Włókniarz, Nida, Słowacki and Oblęgorek sanatoriums, the military hospital and the Bristol hotel. On selected days of the week the train leaves town — for the Szaniec Landscape Park, the Zimne Wody nature reserve, Chotelek Zielony, the Pine on Stilts and the Gothic church in Szaniec.
Services run in season, some of them in the evening when the lamps of the spa park light the town. The ride takes about an hour and works well at the start of a stay, as it makes sense of the spa layout. The parks, the graduation tower and the promenade lie close to the stops.
