ul. Grabowa 52, Wieś Brenna
The Fairy Tale Garden surrounds Chata Grabowa — a restored mountain hostel on the north-eastern slope of Mount Grabowa above Brenna, in the Silesian Beskids. It is a themed sculpture park introducing the legends and folk tales of the region, designed to entertain children and adults. Admission is free and the whole visit takes place outdoors.
The garden is divided into four parts matching the elements: fire, air, water and earth. Each is assigned figures from Slavic demonology carved in wood — Swaróg, Raróg, Radogost, Światowid, Dziewanna, Kupała, Południca, Domowoj, Skarbnik, Utopiec, Płanetnik and rusalkas. Boards next to the figures explain their role in old beliefs.
The hostel lies on the red trail from the Karkoszczonka Pass. From Brenna Centrum the Bajkowy Szlak Utopca leads here in about two hours; from Brenna Leśnica the walk takes less than an hour. Brenna neighbours Szczyrk, so the garden fits easily into a longer Beskid stay.
