Lake Nysa is a retention reservoir on the Nysa Kłodzka river covering over 20 km², one of the three largest bodies of water in the Opole region. It lies at the foot of the Opawskie Mountains and locals call it the Nysa Riviera or the Nysa Seychelles.
The pleasure boat Gracja sets off from the beach in Skorochów, known as the Polish Copacabana. The cruise takes about forty minutes and shows the lake from the water, with the ridge of the Opawskie Mountains in the background. In summer the cruises run daily, and organised groups can combine the trip with a bonfire on the shore.
The shores offer beach facilities and moorings, while the surrounding shallows attract water birds that are easy to spot from the deck. The Fire and Water Festival is held here in summer. The pier the boat leaves from can be reached from the centre of Nysa by bus line A1.
