ul. Wyspiańskiego, Wieś Rymanów-Zdrój
Polana Horodziska, better known as Polana Zbójecka, lies in Rymanów-Zdrój beside the former trade route linking Poland with Hungary. Today it is a forest meadow with a gallery of wooden sculptures, a short walk from the spa part of the village.
The sculptures were set up by Adam Śliwka, owner of the „Dom pod Lipą” farm guesthouse, to commemorate the beskidnicy who once prowled the route. Local tradition saw them as Beskid counterparts of Janosik, robbing the rich and sharing the spoils with the poor. Among the figures are Chroboczek, Dziurawy, Kiep, Skała, Śliski, Hanka and Ważny — each with a plaque telling its story.
Benches and picnic shelters stand on the glade and the Czarny stream flows close by, so it makes an easy walk with children. Admission is free and the site stays open. In Rymanów-Zdrój itself it is worth visiting the mineral water pump room, seeing the graduation tower and strolling through the spa park. Access is by regional road no. 887.
