The Ostoja school riding club is located in Pustków in the Subcarpathian region, in woodland surroundings next to the Biały Bór forester's lodge. Mielec is about 15 km away, Dębica 21 km and Rzeszów roughly 50 km. The setting far from urban noise suits calm work with horses.
The core of the club's work is training children and teenagers: riding schools operate here, camps are organised and many other activities involving horses are offered. The centre also runs hippotherapy, workshops and trips for school groups, and on request prepares corporate events and larger occasions. Rides take place under instructor supervision, including for people with no previous experience.
Ostoja can be a good stop for families with children who want to break a journey with something other than sightseeing. In 2020 the club received the Eagles of Physical Activity award. It is worth arranging a time in advance, as the schedule is filled by training groups.
