Lake Durowskie lies right beside the centre of Wągrowiec, in the Pałuki region. The excursion boat "Elizabeth" operates on the lake, taking passengers on a cruise around it. The pier is on the town beach on Kościuszki Street, next to the watercraft rental – the most convenient starting point for visitors to the town.
The route runs along shores lined with a promenade, fishing jetties and beaches that buzz with life in summer. To the east you can see the municipal park and historic buildings from the early 20th century, and further on the sailing marina and a holiday centre. Waterfowl are a constant presence – swans and ducks swim close to the hull hoping for a treat from passengers.
Cruises run in the summer season, on a timetable set by the municipal sports and recreation centre. The trip pairs easily with a walk along the promenade or a swim at the town bathing area. The boat can also be chartered for a private group cruise.
