Setting out to sea from the port of Łeba

Passenger cruises depart from the passenger quay by the harbour canal in Łeba, near Abrahama Street, where the ticket office is also located. A short trip on the Baltic is one of the most popular attractions of this seaside resort — the ship leaves through the canal into open water, from where you can see the beaches, the fishing port and the dune coast of the Słowiński National Park.

The ships and the cruise

Two passenger vessels are available: the Denega and the Gryf, styled after a galleon, which is the firm favourite among younger passengers. They sail to a timetable, and outside it can be chartered for group trips, photo sessions or birthday parties. During the cruise, anyone who wishes can take the helm under the captain's eye and receive a commemorative Sea Dog certificate.

Good to know

Cruises run in the summer season and depend on the state of the sea — in strong winds they may be cancelled. Bring a windproof jacket, as it is noticeably cooler on deck than on the beach. Signposted routes lead to the port from the centre, and there are eateries and fish stalls nearby.
