ESC House is a set of escape rooms on Kościuszki street in Zakopane, a few steps from Krupówki and the station. For visitors to the Tatras it is an alternative for a day when the weather rules out the mountains or the slopes.
Six themed rooms are available: the space-themed Vergesso Asteroids, Caribbean Pirates, Alice in Wonderland, Sherlock Holmes Riddles, The Mummy and Escape from Shawshank. The interiors are deliberately sparing with decoration — the puzzles are hidden in details rather than in props, so the team has to search the room carefully.
Besides the rooms, the operator runs city games. The player pack is collected at the ESC House office and the route leads through less obvious corners of Zakopane. It is a good way to get to know the town away from the main promenade, and it works well for families and teenagers.
