Zielony Ponton is an operator from Zagórz near Sanok running inflatable-raft trips on the lower San, on the edge of the Bieszczady Foothills. The river is wide and calm here, so even people with no previous experience on the water can take part.
Two main sections are on offer: a shorter one of about eight kilometres from Sanok to Liszna, and a longer one of some twelve kilometres ending in Tyrawa Solna. Groups are led by instructors and lifeguards, and rafts can also be hired for an independent trip. Seasonal programmes appear around the May holiday and through the summer.
Beyond the river the operator runs team and recreation activities: outdoor games, geocaching, bumper ball, arrow tag and contests in unusual sporting disciplines. That makes the place work well for family outings, groups of friends and company events. Sanok, with its castle and open-air museum, lies a few kilometres away and rounds out the day.
