A woodland park on the Drama

Park Repecki lies on the boundary of Tarnowskie Góry and the Zbrosławice commune, within the nature and landscape complex covering the park in Repty and the valley of the Drama river. The river splits the grounds in two and mature forest covers much of the area. A dense network of paths allows many route variants, from a short stroll to a walk of several hours.

The Black Trout Adit

Within the park stand the shafts of the Black Trout Adit, part of the former ore workings. A section roughly 600 metres long is covered by boat – the longest underground boat trip of its kind in Poland. Visits take place in groups and require a reservation in advance.

The surroundings

Next to the park stand the castle in Stare Tarnowice and the Repty rehabilitation centre. Cars can approach from Śniadeckiego Street, where the car park is paid, or from Repecka Street, where parking is free.
