A flower promenade in Ciechocinek

Partery Hellwiga is an ornamental walkway in the spa town of Ciechocinek. Flower beds arranged into colourful carpets run along the avenue and make up one of the town's most recognisable sights. The name commemorates Zygmunt Hellwig, who conceived and created the layout.

What to see

The strongest impression comes from the floral patterns, changed with the season, and among them a large sundial made of plants. The axis of the whole arrangement is a fountain, illuminated in the evening. Numerous benches line the walkway.

Who it suits

This is a spot for a short, unhurried stroll — for patients from the nearby sanatoriums, families with children and visitors. The ground is flat and surfaced, so accessible with a pushchair and with a dog. It looks best after dark, by the lit fountain.
