The Sensory Gardens, also called the Gardens of the Senses, lie in the Zapopradzie spa park in Muszyna, across the Poprad river from the centre of the resort. This themed layout uses plants, materials and objects chosen to stimulate sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste. It works well as a break while exploring the Beskid Sądecki range, especially with children.
The site is divided into eight zones: health, scent, sound, scent-and-touch, taste, Aphrodite, the tales and legends of Muszyna, and the Magic Garden. Each offers different stimuli: instruments to play on, herbs and perennials with intense fragrance, and surfaces with varied textures.
The gardens were designed with disabled visitors in mind, including the blind, and a special platform makes wheelchair access easier. There is a shelter with a fire pit on site. Nearby it is worth seeing the Muszyna graduation towers and the castle hill with its tower; trails lead from here to Malnik and further into the Beskid Sądecki.
