Park Rozkówka lies in Będzin, in the Grodziec district, on the site of a former sand pit of the KWK Grodziec colliery. The post-industrial relief — escarpments and hollows — gives it a character unusual for urban greenery and makes the paths varied. Reclamation turned the wasteland into a large recreation area for the northern part of the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie region.
A network of walking, cycling and riding trails lets you plan a short stroll or a whole afternoon outdoors. There is a playground, an outdoor gym, climbing rocks for children and a slide built into the natural slope. Spots for a campfire and barbecue have been set out, and a stud farm beside the park offers horse riding along the local trails.
Educational paths with wooden animal sculptures and boards explaining local nature are aimed at the youngest visitors. An amphitheatre stands nearby and hosts open-air events in season. Admission is free, the grounds are open all year, and dogs are welcome.
