The City Park in Legnica covers around 58 hectares in the very centre of the town, on the boundary of the Old Town and the Ochota district. It is the oldest green complex in Legnica and remains the main recreational space for residents, reachable from several sides without a detour.
A network of alleys leads through the historic tree stand to the park's best-known features: a water axis with several dozen fountains, carpet flower beds, a concert shell, the Grove of the Muses and a pond from the early 20th century. The red PTTK trail commemorating the 1241 Battle of Legnica runs across the grounds, so the walk can easily be extended beyond the park.
The park combines strolling with recreation and often hosts city events — from picnics and concerts to running races. Flat ground and paved alleys make it easy to visit with children.
