Wieś Nieborów
The park in Nieborów surrounds a baroque palace in the Łowicz district, at the eastern edge of the Łódź Voivodeship. Residence and garden together form one of the best preserved palace-and-park complexes in Poland and are a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw.
The grounds were designed in the regular, French style. They consist of broad avenues planted with native tree species, box hedge mazes, parterres and geometric flower beds, and a formal lime avenue with a carpet lawn. In the western part runs an L-shaped canal with three water basins.
The garden is visited on a ticket and museum rules apply. A walk combines well with a tour of the palace interiors, and nearby it is worth visiting the romantic garden of Arkadia, which belongs to the same museum complex.
