Leśny Park Kultury i Wypoczynku Myślęcinek covers several hundred hectares on the northern edge of Bydgoszcz, on Gdańska Street. This extensive woodland and park complex combines recreation, education and sport, and its scale allows for a full day out.
The grounds are divided into several parts: a zoo, a Botanical Garden, an Ecological Education Centre, a horse riding centre, an amusement park and a ski slope. Added to these are a golf course, a wake park, a beach by the water, the Museum of the Earth and a traffic training town for children.
The park suits walkers using the promenade and forest tracks as well as runners and cyclists. Families with children will find several hours of activity, and in winter the slope and ski trails are added. Entry to the grounds is free; individual facilities charge admission.
