Park Pawłowicki lies in the north-eastern part of Wrocław, in the Psie Pole district. It covers about 7.5 hectares and forms part of the city arboretum. Nearly one hundred species of shrubs and sixty species of trees grow here, arranged along freely winding paths in landscape style.
The heart of the estate is the palace complex with its annexe and gardener's house; the palace now serves as a hotel, and the university experimental station operates next to it. Marked nature trails explain the composition of the tree stand. The grounds merge smoothly into forest, meadows and pastures, so a walk is easy to extend.
This is a place for a quiet stroll, jogging and a family afternoon away from city traffic. Admission is free all year, paved alleys make pushchair access easy, and dogs are welcome on a lead. It is worth bringing a blanket for a longer visit.
