Park nad Odrą in Nowa Sól stretches along the river bank next to the marina, the port and the very centre of town. The grounds are small but carefully laid out: geometric alleys, paved squares and ornamental greenery form a tidy composition that can be walked in a quarter of an hour.
The bandshell, used during municipal events, and a fountain shaped like a granite sphere draw the most attention. Colourful flower beds, shrubs and ornamental trees line the paths, while information boards help visitors find their bearings. From the embankment you can see the footbridge over the Oder and boats moored in the marina.
The park is a natural starting point for a walk along the Oder and for reaching the yacht harbour, one of the symbols of revitalised Nowa Sól. The market square and town cafés are close by.
