A palm house in the heart of the Legnica park

The Palm House and Mini Zoo in Legnica operate within the municipal park close to the centre. The site dates back to the late nineteenth century, as it was founded in 1898, and still combines a glasshouse plant collection with a small animal garden. It is one of the city's most popular destinations for family outings.

What to see

The palm house holds more than three hundred plant species from various climate zones, along with exotic birds and terrariums with reptiles and amphibians. The outdoor mini zoo keeps peacocks and tortoises among others. The visit is short but rich in impressions, especially for children.
