The Tadeusz Kościuszko Municipal Park occupies a site right in the middle of Zgierz, on Parkowa Street in the Łódź region. It is the town's most popular recreational space, combining walking grounds with sports and water facilities. The municipal sports and recreation centre manages the site.
The central feature is Cylke Pond with its island. A promenade and a cycling path run around the water, and a kayak and boat rental operates at the landing. The pond also attracts anglers. Active visitors will find a rope park with three routes and an outdoor gym, and children a large themed playground.
In spring and summer food trucks, ice cream kiosks and inflatable slides appear here, and local events and celebrations are held. In winter the park stays open, though the water attractions are closed.
