A neo-Gothic residence near Chrzanów

The Palace and Park Complex in Młoszowa is a historic residential estate in the Chrzanów district, listed in the register of monuments of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The palace was rebuilt several times and owes its present neo-Gothic form, with towers and crenellation, to a nineteenth-century remodelling.

What to see

Besides the palace itself, the grounds preserve more than a dozen stone sculptures, among them figures of St Florian, Światowid and the Virgin Mary, along with garden architecture and a grave of Swedish soldiers. The park surrounding the residence is landscape in character, with mature trees and freely laid-out alleys.

Good to know

The property belongs to a university and serves as a conference and teaching centre, so the interiors are not open to tourists and access to the park may be limited. The palace is viewed from the outside; about an hour is enough for a short stop and a walk around the grounds.
