Green heart of the town

The City Park in Andrychów occupies a site right in the town centre, at the foot of the Beskid Mały range and on the Wieprzówka river. It is one of Andrychów's most recognisable spots and a convenient stop on the route between Oświęcim, Wadowice and Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. The paths lead among mature trees, lawns and plantings, and the modest scale of the grounds means a full loop takes less than an hour.

What to see

The eastern part of the park is filled by a large pond with a circular island — benches set around it make it easy to watch the waterfowl. In the north-western corner stand the remains of a 19th-century classicist palace, today a picturesque ruin absorbed by greenery. Families with children will find a well-equipped playground with certified equipment.

Who it suits

This is a place for a quiet walk, a rest in the shade and a short break on a journey. The ground is flat and the paths are surfaced, so prams and visitors with limited mobility manage well. Dogs are welcome and admission remains free.
