Tyskie Browarium is a museum trail set within the Tyskie Ducal Brewery in the centre of Tychy. Brewing tradition here goes back to 1629, and the present industrial complex of red brick, with interiors preserved from the early 20th century, took shape when the plant belonged to the Dukes of Pszczyna and gained a reputation reaching well beyond Silesia.
The tour leads through the older and the modern parts of the brewery — the brewhouse, the cellars and the production halls — showing the successive stages of making beer. The exhibition gathers bottles, tankards, barrels and bottle caps documenting the history of the brand. The route ends with a tasting of unpasteurised beer, available to adult participants.
Entry is only with a guide, in groups and after booking in advance. Besides the standard tour there are evening variants and guided walks in the Silesian dialect. Given the character of the site, the trail is not intended for children.
