Poland's largest firefighting museum

What to see

The core of the display consists of fire engines and turntable ladders from successive eras, from horse-drawn pumps to modern appliances. They are complemented by uniforms, helmets, rescue equipment, banners and alarm systems showing how a firefighter's work has changed.

The museum runs museum lessons and workshops for schools and organised groups, and hosts outdoor events during the year, including the Industriada festival. Temporary exhibitions develop technical and historical themes. The displays can be seen in any weather.
