Poznańska 2, Jarocin
Spichlerz Polskiego Rocka occupies a former grain granary in the centre of Jarocin. It gathers mementoes of the legendary Jarocin festival and of the whole Polish rock scene — from the earliest editions of the event to the present day.
The display consists of photographs, cuttings from the national and local press, film recordings, posters and objects donated by musicians and festival-goers. The material is arranged so as to convey the atmosphere of successive editions and the mood of the era that produced them.
On the ground floor there is a club café where young and debuting performers appear. The museum also runs series of music and art workshops and meetings popularising the history of Polish rock. Jarocin itself is small, so a visit combines easily with a walk around the market square.
